This is a product made of two components that you inject into the wall and hardens and secures around the bolt. Answer: You need to give the screw a good tap with a hammer on the head of the screw, this blocks it in the step so that the screw is firmly fixed, you should not drill a wider hole because then the screw will turn into the void, these screws are intended for this purpose and this will block them so that the step is solidly fixed on the stringer.
