Morso Stove Pipe Thermometer
Morso Stove Pipe Thermometer - for optimal combustion
The Morso stove pipe thermometer is designed to calculate the smoke temperature from the pipe on top of the stove. Held up by a magnet, this thermometer helps keep your stove burning at the optimum temperature which in turn will save on wood and avoid build up of soot.
The benefits of optimal combustion and temperature (between 110 ° C (230 ° F) and 250 ° C (480 ° F)) are as follows;
- Longer burning time
- Less wood consumption
- Cleaner stove pipes
- Longer stove life
The disadvantages of too high (higher than 250 ° C (480 ° F)) or too low (lower than 110 ° C (230 ° F)) temperatures are;
- Flames become too big
- Larger smoke emissions
- Tar build-up in the pipe
